Birds at and around the Viewpoint Lodge

Birds observed inside our compound and garden.

All the photos of the website have been taken in the lodge or just around.

Here is a small list of birds that we observed ourselves during the last 5 years. Not all the birds are around every day, but it is easy to observe 50 different birds in 24 hours. It is reported that 360 different birds where observed around the lake by a birdwatcher who stayed several months. This list gives you an idea of the large number of different birds present.
